Get ready for a blast from last year's advertising brilliance as "The Goldfish" makes its debut on February 3. This time around, the dynamic duo of Jan Thomas and Desta Marie Beeder will take the reins on TV 2.
"I'm thrilled to lead Gullfisken alongside Desta. We teamed up years ago, and finally, the stars aligned for us to do it again," says Jan Thomas.
The two hosts previously collaborated on the TV 2 show "Happy Day" a whopping 12 years ago. In that program, Jan Thomas worked his magic to help people enhance their looks and style.
"Ever since then, I've been hoping to work with him again, and now it's finally happening. Jan is warm and delightful, and I can't wait to share the evening with him," says Beeder, who usually graces the screens on Good Morning Norway.
Jan Thomas, who took the helm of "Jakten på Kjærligheten" last year, acknowledges that Gullfisken is a well-known and cherished concept. However, he emphasizes the importance of adding their unique touch to the program.
"Without giving away too much, we're promising a genuine celebration," he hints.
Beeder is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to pay homage to the advertising industry.
"Telling a compelling story in just 30 seconds is no small feat, and that's what makes it even more impressive to see what the industry can pull off."
Mark your calendars for February 3, when Gullfisken hits the screens on TV 2. The show is brought to you by The Oslo Company, promising a night filled with entertainment and a fresh take on the beloved advertising showcase.
The interactive elements make the learning process enjoyable.
